Warranty

Scintex Specialty Tools sold by Scintex have a lifetime warranty unless specified otherwise. If you have any questions regarding the warranty period please email us for more information. The warranty covers against poor workmanship and faults from normal use. If the product is found to be misused or neglected the product warranty will not apply. Many Scintex products require assembly (sometimes by a licensed electrician) or fitting of the products to your vehicle or project. It is assumed on purchase that you have the necessary skills to perform such tasks. The warranty does not cover consumable goods (for example: Filter Bags and Dry Wash). Scintex is not liable for any damage caused as a result of misuse of our products. By accepting delivery of the goods you are agreeing to the conditions of the warranty.

In most cases Scintex will replace your goods but on occasions we may require the customer to ship the goods back to us for assessment and repair.

Returns

Under Australian Trade law you are entitled to return your goods within 'a reasonable period of time'. Scintex will allow you to return your goods for a full refund at any stage as long as they are unused and in their original condition and packaging. However, the cost of shipping will not be refunded if you change your mind about a purchase that has already been shipped. You will also be required to pay for the cost of returning the goods to Scintex.

Some items which are specially ordered or imported on request may attract a 20% restocking fee if returned.
